Specializing in new and unique game play methods, we utilize a number of different technologies to achieve interesting game play mechanics. Trihex Software uses existing game play engines, such as the Torque line of engines from Garage Games, as well as technologies developed in house in languages such as C/C++ and Java. We are lovers of games, and want to see the industry move forward. To that end, Trihex Software came up with the concept of Open Development. A leap beyond simple Open Source, Open Development throws wide open the doors of computer application development. Trihex Initiates have insider access to the day-to-day development of the games and projects here at Trihex Software. We hold weekly online meetings with our initiates where we go over, line by line, the code for our projects. Essentially, they get to develop the game we are developing right along with us. Nothing is secret, all the good, the bad, and the ugly sides of game development are there for all to see, criticize, comment on, and learn from.
